The national price of gas has dropped significantly almost 50 cents lower than this years high, and looks as though it could continue to drop until the November election. USA Today reports that the national average is currently at $3.47 and could reach the 3 dollar or under mark for the Presidential election. Much of the drop is due to lessening tensions in the Middle East, and fixing of oil refinery issues.
