The Republican Senate Primary in Indiana is being held today and this race is being watched closely by Republicans , Tea-Partiers, and Democrats alike. This is because this race marks the first real challenge for long time Republican senator Dick Lugar. Many see this as a chance to oust the long time senator and try to get their man into the seat, while Indiana is primarily a red state there is still hope from the Democrats that the growing government frustrations could flip their usually red senate seat blue.
