The recent jobs report for June released last week revealed rather disappointing numbers, despite this news however Obama's job approval concerning the economy has hardly shifted. Some of the reasons are that only 22% of people closely follow the Labor Bureau's Job reports according to a Gallup poll. Additionally individuals often interpret the jobs data differently, often times what one person reads as negative is seen as mixed or "stable" by another. Lastly, people see it as simply one month of reporting and instead look to the entire jobs record. So despite a less than impressive job report Obama vs Romney poll numbers remain steady.
