Least Productive Congress Since WWII
USA Today - 08/15/2012
Latest polls indicate that people are highly frustrated with Congress and with good reason. Only 61 laws have come from the 3,914 introduced bills in 2012. These numbers the 61 laws from 2012 and the 90 from 2011 make the 112th Congress the least productive since World War II. The 112th Congress will instead be remembered for it's fierce partisan divisions and it's Super Committees that failed to enact any real plan including the failure to enact the 1.2 trillion dollar deficit reduction. Congressional approval hit 10% on Tuesday based on the latest Gallup findings.
