New Primary Tactics Factor Into California's Primary Elections

Democrats in California are trying to secure the 25 seats necessary to control the house, but a new primary system could be a bump in the road. The new primary measures mean that the candidates recieving the largest percent of the vote will advance to the November ballot. Some districts may have no democrats to choose from. Both political parties are desperately trying to hold on to the majority and pouring in donations from super pacs to try to boost their candidates into better positions for the upcoming primaries.
