Pedro Hernandez was taken in by the NYPD after making comments linking himself to the disappearance of Etan Patz more than 30 years ago. Patz was 6 years old when he went missing in SoHo, this disappearance sparked a nation wide search. Etan is also known as the first child to be put on a milk carton. The search for Etan Patz was renewed a few weeks ago when a basement was dug up that police thought could be a evidence of a cover up. No new evidence was acquired through that search.
