Obama Campaign Courts Women's Vote in CO
NBC News - 08/09/2012
In Obama's Colorado campaign rally he spent his time targeting women's healthcare highlighting the many benefits women would receive under the new Health Care Law including preventative care, no co-pay for birth control, and well-woman visits. He then declared that Romney would take all of these new health care initiatives away if he came into office. President Obama was introduced by Sandra Fluke the controversial figure that emerged after she wasn't allowed to testify in a hearing concerning contraceptives. After being berated as a "prostitute" and a "slut" by far-right radio host Rush Limbaugh, Fluke applauded Obama's efforts to let women's voices be heard on matters that mean the most to them including health care.
