Romney Campaign Brushes Off Bad Poll Numbers

When a top Romney aide was asked about the recent poll shifts favoring President Obama the campaign staffer brushed it off as "not an issue". Citing other things the American public are concerned with such as the Olympic games, and then blaming the time of the year "the middle of August" for the weak polling numbers. However many are now speculating that negative ads targeting Romney may be getting to voters who now view Romney as much more unfavorable than President Obama. Romney is about to launch a bus tour hitting competitive swing states before the Republican National Convention. With only 88 days until the election it may be time to really investigate as to why Romney is polling so poorly.
