Romney Repeats Emergency Room Comment

In a meeting with The Columbus Dispatch’s editorial board, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney offered hints as to what he would put in place of “Obamacare."
“We don’t have a setting across this country where if you don’t have insurance, we just say to you, ‘Tough luck, you’re going to die when you have your heart attack, " said Romney, echoing his remarks from an interview with CBS News' "60 Minutes" two weeks ago.
Romney said those who currently do not carry insurance would have a chance to make a “choice” to be covered without worrying about being denied, but did not specify how long Americans would have to make a choice, or what would happen to those who chose not to be covered and later became ill.
