Ron Paul Wins Maine and Majoriry of Nevada Delegates
Washington Post - 05/06/2012
Ron Paul supporters were out in droves to increase voter awareness about their candidate. It seemed to pay off Paul was able to win the majority of Maine's delegates as well as 22 of 25 of the Nevada delegates. Despite the recent surge of support, Nevada's delegates are bound to follow the results of the first convention ballot and will still go to Romney. Additionally the Romney campaign is expected to contest Paul's win in Maine. Paul supporters are hoping for a brokered convention in Tampa but given Romney's large lead is not likely to happen. Ron Paul supporters are unlikely to stop being vocal about their candidate and will support him up to the Florida convention.
