Rob Portman the Republican Governor from Ohio has stated that he has had several meetings with Romney aides including Beth Myers the woman Romney put in charge of his VP hunt. While Portman was quick to say all of the meetings were in regards to Ohio fundraising efforts, he has been placed on the potential VP short list for some time.
